3D Printing Services

Exxjet offers 3D printing services in SLA (stereolithography), SLS (selective laser sintering), FDM (modeling by deposition of molten wire), DLMS (direct laser sintering of metal) and Polyjet (Inkjet technology).

The different technologies allow us to quickly create realistic prototypes, to print 3D models, and also to create customized finished products in 3D in a number of different materials and finishes.

Exxjet strives to adapt the choice of material and technology to your needs and to offer you the best 3D printing prices.

FDM

FDM is a filament-based technology where a temperature-controlled head extrudes a thermoplastic material layer by layer onto a build platform. A support structure is created where needed and built in a water-soluble material. The great advantage of FDM is the durable materials it uses, the stability of their mechanical properties over time, and the quality of the parts. FDM can build just about any geometry you have in mind.

PolyJet

PolyJet works by jetting photopolymer materials in ultra-thin layers onto a build platform. It offers the unique ability to print parts and assemblies made of multiple model materials, with different mechanical or physical properties, all in a single build. So, you can confidently order parts of unparalleled complexity, made of several materials and colours, and with the finish of a high-quality end product.

Stereolithography

Stereolithography is a laser-based technology that uses a UV-sensitive liquid resin. Also known as SLA or SL for short, it is the veteran of 3D printing technologies. When you need a part printed yesterday and delivered right now, Stereolithography is what you want to be looking at. It’s a technology that produces great looking models with impeccable surface quality in no time.

Metal 3D Printing

Also known as Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) and Selective Laser Melting (SLM), metal 3D printing is a laser-based technology that uses powdered metals. This technology combines the design flexibility of 3D Printing with the mechanical properties of metal. From tooling inserts with cooling channels to lightweight structures for aerospace, any application that involves complex metal parts potentially benefits from metal 3D printing. It allows for the direct manufacturing of complex end-use parts and facilitates tooling for conventional manufacturing technologies, reducing costs and lead times.

Selective Laser Sintering

Selective laser sintering, SLS, is used when prototype function and strength are important. Through different material choices you can get details with special flexibility, stiffness and aging resistance. SLS is best suited when you need your product made of a durable material. SLS is a free- form production method where we create the prototype directly from your CAD-data without first developing a tool.

Vacuum Casting

Vacuum Casting is a copying technique used to produce small series of functional plastic parts. Using two-component polyurethanes and silicone molds, Vacuum Casting is known for its fast production of high-quality prototypes or end-use products.
